When you book a tour/trek with Sam Trekking you get an experienced guide, usually Mr. Sam himself. Mr. Sam has a full staff of competent drivers and parties to accompany all his tours and treks, booked through him. This is very important – as he and his staff speak several Hill-Tribe languages and are experts at steering the bamboo rafts – for those doing a bamboo raft tour. Other tour agencies have one of their inexperienced guests assist with the steering which doesn’t make for a relaxing time!
